What is the Kinship Program?
There are many families in Champaign County that are nontraditional. Grandparents raising grandchildren, uncles and aunts raising their nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters raising their brothers and sisters; the kinship program is a support to help these nontraditional families thrive in Champaign County. Through peer support, resourcing, support groups, and much more, the kinship program is designed to help with the daily difficulties of life.
